Adventure Attractions

If you’re looking for a family day out on the Isle of Wight filled with adventure and excitement, look no further than Robin Hill! The park’s 88 acres are dotted with outdoor play areas, treetop walkways and a host of rides. Here are just a few highlights of what you can expect…

The Ripple

The Ripple is a 20m water pillow, giving the sensation of water play without getting wet!

Run, walk, roll, and jump on this brilliant new sensory play attraction.

Times: Open all day

Height Restriction: None

Accessibility Sessions: The Ripple is a fantastic sensory attraction, and we offer accessibility sessions for anyone with a general park ticket or a frequent visitor pass. We hold the sessions on the first Sunday of every month between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.

During these sessions, the Ripple is open exclusively to you and the sessions are limited to around 20 people. Also, siblings are welcome so your family can enjoy time together.

When you arrive, take the tractor ride down to the Ripple at 9.45 a.m. or enjoy a casual stroll if you prefer.

Squirrel Tower

Are you brave enough to climb to the top of this huge rope tower? See how long it takes you to make it to the very top before a trip along the bouncy treetop bridges and back down the hill for round two. Make sure you save some energy for the rest of your journey around the park, there’s still so much more to see and do!  play on the Tree Top Trail where there is more climbing fun on our tree top bridges and platforms.

Times: Open all day

Height Restriction: None, this attraction is not recommended for small children

Accessibility: Climbing the Tower is quite strenuous and does require guests to be physically fit and very mobile, with good balance. It is not suitable for guests with restricted mobility. 


Colossus

Don your sea legs when you climb aboard the Colossus swinging galleon and hold on tight for an exhilarating journey across the seven seas! Reach heights of 40 feet above sea level on the magnificent ship’s journey. 

Times: Last ride is 30 minutes before park closing

Height Restriction: Guests must be at least 1.1 metres tall

Accessibility: Guests must be able to brace themselves with their hands and feet. Wheelchair access is not possible. There are 10 steps to gain access to the platform with a further step up and over required to enter the boat. Guests with severe visual or hearing impairments must be accompanied by a carer/helper at all times and should ride within the same row. Access to the ride is via the main queue. 


4D Motion Cinema

Step inside the 4D Cinema for your ultimate HD experience! With so many stories to discover, you’re never quite sure where the journey will to take you. Sit back and find out what adventure is in store…

Times: Last ride is 30 minutes before park closing

Height Restriction: 1.1 metres

Accessibility: Guests must be able to brace themselves with their hands and feet, this ride involves oscillations in all directions and sometimes of a fairly violent nature. Wheelchairs can be taken into the ride enclosure via the rear entrance, which is signposted on our map. Guests must be able to transfer from their wheelchair onto the ride. Guests with severe visual or hearing impairments must be accompanied by a carer/helper at all times and should ride within the same row. Access to the ride is via the main queue, except for wheelchair users.


Cows Express

All aboard! Roll up to our most popular children’s fun ride because it’s ‘full cream ahead’ from the Cows Express Station! Watch out because these bovines have taken over the tracks! How many can you spot? 

Times: Last ride is 30 minutes before park closing

Height Restriction: Guests must be over 90 cm tall to ride unaccompanied.

Accessibility: Persons who suffer from heart conditions or pregnant women are advised not to ride. Persons with broken/ fractured limbs are advised not to use this ride. All guests wishing to use this ride must be able to brace themselves with their hands and feet, and remain seated upright. Wheelchair access to the platform is possible but a further step up and over from the platform is required. Guests with severe visual or hearing impairments must be accompanied by a carer/helper at all times and should ride within the same row. Access to the ride is via the main queue.


African Adventure

Encounter wild elephants, zebras, and majestic giraffes on your journey through the African out-back. But watch out, there are cheetahs and crocodiles about! Make your way through this awesome assault course style outdoor play area, complete with slides, swings, high-rise towers, a zip line swing and much more!

Tractor Train

Hop on board for a tour of Robin Hill in style! The Big Red Tractor Train offers frequent rides on a loop around the park from the entrance down to the Lower Valley, with stops along the way. It’s also a great way to get back up to the exit if you’re feeling tired after a long day of adventures! 

Accessibility: The tractor train is accessible to wheelchairs and prams. 

Closing time: 15.30 (later on busier days subject to demand)

Please note that this facility does not run during some events and does not operate in the evenings whilst the park is open.
